The right way to BE UNIQUE

Ronda

Excellence in typography is the result of nothing more than an attitude. Its appeal comes from the understanding used in its planning; the designer must care

Anima Linotype

Anima Linotype

Visible from the outside due to the subtle transparency of the acetate and made to an exclusive Good’s design, it reproduces - with an engraved inscription - the right way to look at things developed from right to left, like the lead lines produced by the traditional Linotype typographic machine, invented in 1886 and defined by Thomas Edison as The Eighth Wonder of the World.

Inspiration

The model is inspired by the Ronda font designed by the famous designer and typographer Herb Lubalin, considered one of the most influential graphic designers of the 20th century, and his partner Tom Carnase. The font was distributed by ITC in 1970. and is based on the Universal font designed by Herbert Bayer in 1925 for the Bauhaus school founded by Walter Gropius, creating a sans-serif typeface with a design based on circular shapes, as evidenced by the characteristic lowercase a and capital R. The font was widely used in the 1970s.

Personality

The discreet intensity of the Ronda model makes it versatile for different faces and personalities, while its discreet warmth, soft, well-proportioned lines and balanced milling that enhances the colour add a touch of comfort and exclusivity.

Description

Biocetate: the frame is in Mazzucchelli M49 bioacetate, 100% recyclable and biodegradable, without chemical agglomerates to avoid allergic reactions and its natural origin is also revealed to the touch with a pleasant “warm and silky effect”.

Frame front: the front takes on a balance between expressiveness and sobriety, making it suitable for a wide range of people. Its gritty elegance distinguishes it from more traditional glasses, giving it a serious but friendly look. The organic touch adds a touch of warmth, making it inviting and accessible. Its progressive design elements give it a classic yet modern look, making it familiar yet bold.

Temples: the sail-style temples owe their name to the shape that resembles a rudder tiller. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “O” inspired by Good’s logo.
