Good’s eyewear is always the result of multiple synergies, research and the sharing of expertise.
Entirely produced in Italy, from the selection of biocompatible acetates from Mazzuchelli laboratories to the manufacturing process carried out in the Cadore valley, where expert hands bring them to life through 60 meticulous steps.
But our artefact is not just eyewear, it is also the study of the packaging that contains it and the design of the case, entirely made with 100% eco-friendly products.
Eco-friendly
Materials
Great attention is also paid to the use of materials; GOOD’S glasses are made from eco-friendly materials.
Only Mazzucchelli acetate, which is 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable, without chemical additives, is used for the frames, recognisable by the code M49.
It is recyclable because it can be reprocessed using various technologies into a wide range of products; it is biodegradable because cellulose degrades in the environment as it does in nature and does not cause contact allergies.
Despite being a bio-based material, M49 retains all the aesthetic characteristics of traditional acetate. Its natural origin is also evident to the touch, with a pleasant ‘warm and silky effect’ that gives the user the comfort that only natural substances can provide.
Beautiful and Well Done
The packaging will also use organic materials and follow a philosophy based on the concept of ‘beautiful & well made’.
The exclusive Good’s cases are made of Salpa, a material recycled from tanning waste and processed with water-based glues with the addition of natural rubber, which boasts a long life because it is very resistant and easy to clean.
The information sheets describing the glasses and all printed materials are made from Arena Fedrigoni natural paper, which is made from pure ECF cellulose and is FSC certified.
Quality lenses
GOOD’S uses BIO anti-reflective lenses, made entirely in Italy, thanks to the percentage of natural carbon derived from the processing of castor oil.
