The right way to BE UNIQUE

Architype

What is important is to have the understanding of the structure and proportions of the letterforms, and the ability to ‘know’ when a curve or shape is ‘wrong,’ and what is needed to correct it.

Freda Sack (1951 – 2019)

Anima Linotype

Anima Linotype

Visible from the outside due to the subtle transparency of the acetate and made to an exclusive Good’s design, it reproduces - with an engraved inscription - the right way to look at things developed from right to left, like the lead lines produced by the traditional Linotype typographic machine, invented in 1886 and defined by Thomas Edison as The Eighth Wonder of the World.

Inspiration

The model is inspired by the Architype Bayer font, an evolution of the Universal font created by Herman Bayer, created in 1997 by Freda Sack and David Quay of The Foundry. Architype Bayer is an interpretation of the original font, but contains only lowercase letters.

Personality

Architype Bayer eyewear is made for people who are precise and linear but never banal, who pay attention to detail but do not fall into unnecessary decorative frills. Linearity, elegance and clarity of ideas are the main characteristics of the people this model is aimed at.

Description

Biocetate: the frame is in Mazzucchelli M49 bioacetate, 100% recyclable and biodegradable, without chemical agglomerates to avoid allergic reactions and its natural origin is also revealed to the touch with a pleasant “warm and silky effect”.

Frame front: The design of the front follows the same stylistic approach as the Universal model, as the reference font is derived from the Universal font. The result is a geometric design, extremely clean and linear, objective and timeless, with an extremely legible form and no superfluous ornamental motifs.

Temples: the sail-style temples owe their name to the shape that resembles a rudder tiller. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “O” inspired by Good’s logo.
